Pacing up with the IT trends, the Isabela State University installed its Landbank ATM Machine at the Echague Campus through the generous assistance of the Landbank – San Isidro Branch.

The blessing and formal opening of the machine was held last October 7, 2009 during a simple ceremony at the ISU gate. University Officials headed by Dr. Richard C. Ramirez, Vice President for Administrative and Finance Services, Dr. Alberto Domingo, Vice President for Planning and Development, Dr. Thelma T. Lanuza, Executive Officer, Echague Cluster, Ms. Marilyn Z. Cureg, Head of the Accounting Division, and Mr. Oscar Respicio, COA Representative with LBP Manager Ma. Luisa Andres of San Isidro branch, graced the said event.

The establishment of the ATM Machine at ISU gate is a brain child of the ISU administration to provide ISU employees better services in terms of getting their salaries and other benefits. This undertaking according to Dr. Ramirez, provides ease of access for employees to get their salaries without the long wait in lines at the Cashier Section during paydays. Dr. Domingo added that it also made salaries of employees accessible anywhere in the country whenever there is an ATM Machine.

This new development at ISU is also a good news for the Echague residents as the newest ATM machine is now at their neighbourhood.
